WHO I AM
Atul Sharma was born in a conservative north Indian Brahmin family where value and respect for life is very important. Being a Doctorate from MIT U.S., he is a scientist, spokesman and a think tank. Currently, he is working as a prominent scientist in the field of defence research in India and is also an active member of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS).
Atul Sharma is a prominent speaker in defence research and also speaks on all matters related to nation’s development. He has given lectures in all premium institutions in the world on various topics which in turn has helped many.His articles on various issues of common interest gives everyone the best update and views from a lay man point of view to the highly educated people in the society.
Early Life
Atul Sharma was born on 1st January 1975 in an orthodox Saraswat Brahmin family in Barauni refinery, Begusarai district in Bihar, India. His father, Late. A K Sharma, used to work in Barauni refinery and his mother, Madhuri Sharma, was a home maker. Although his roots are from United Punjab and some part of Kashmir, his family is settled in Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
Education
Atul Sharma completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Begusarai and graduated from IIT Kharagpur. Then he won scholarship and went to MIT, United States for his masters and Doctorate.
Career
Atul Sharma started his career from IBM Research where he served as a Vice President and Director of Research for some time followed by Sr. Vice President in Tiscali Research.Later, he joined the U.S. defence research in the Department of Defence in the United States of America andhas headed the U.S. defence research for more than eight years.
In the year 2012,Atul Sharma lost his father who was also his mentor andmoved to India to take care of his family and to do something for the country.
Achievement
Atul Sharma’s achievement includes the best young research scholar, best young scientist, and best scientist, member of several society and organisations, member of think tank, Council of foreign relations, Council for Indian foreign policy and a part of several other think tanks around the world.
